Why do I teach? It's all about building relationships and student confidence. There's nothing better than being part of a student's transformation from struggle to confidence. This happens through giving everyday effort, our motto in our class.

After graduating from Winona Senior High, I attended Northwestern College where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, I was hired by Turtle Lake Elementary as a third grade teacher and, after a few years of teaching other things, I'm excited to be back. ​

My wife Anna and I live in Shoreview and we have four kids; Conlin, Beckham, Elden, and Adeline. My favorite things are spending time with family, following Minnesota sports teams, and keeping up with my hobbies; beekeeping and woodworking.
